OPA internet discussion forums are available to members depending on their membership classification, but it is not required to join or participate in any of those lists to be an OPA member and lend your support.
All members will receive information online about legislative proposals likely to affect the practice of aviculture in the United States, or to affect the rights of pet owners. Guidance will be given as to how members can become active participants in these issues by contacting legislators, legislative bodies and news media.
All members are eligible to receive the OPA email newsletter, and other online OPA publications.
Benefits, such as the Fellowship Certification process, OPA Retail Kits, print publications, or certain discounted products and services from OPA or the companies of its members, may not be available to all categories of membership, and/or additional fees may be charged.
